Our Small Group Mat classes are the longest running in the Ribble Valley and Wyre area - we started teaching in 2001!.

From coughing, too much sitting and lifting weights, our pelvic floor can become weak.  You know the signs - cab't sneeze or jump without an 'oops' moment?

You'll be surprised just how many Pilates exercises we already do that work the Pelvic floor - but this time we talk how and why they help. There aren't too many mentions of the unmentionables!

My specialist training (and development of specific Scoliosis workshops of Pilates teachers) means that I can adapt Pilates moves to back conditions.

We use Pilates moves to help with:

  • Spondylolithesis,
  • Retrolithesis,
  • Stenosis,
  • Arthritic conditions,
  • Ankylosing Spondylitis,
  • Oeosteoporosis
  • Sacralisation
  • Scheuermann's Disease
  • amongst others

In essence, if you have a 'bad back' we can help alleviate your symptoms and get you moving again.

Apparatus based Spine Safe classes with just 4 participants also available (Monday 6.50pm and Friday 10.30am).
